This album is a 2018 pressing of Songs Of Experience Vinyl LP Box Set by U2.
The Irish quartet's 14th studio album was released in 2017. Jacknife Lee and Ryan Tedder worked with Steve Lillywhite, Andy Barlow, and Jolyon Thomas to make Songs of Experience. The album is meant to be a companion piece to Songs of Innocence, U2's previous album (2014).
Thematically, Songs of Experience is a collection of letters written by lead vocalist Bono to the people and places that are most important to him, unlike its predecessor, which focused on the group members' upbringing in Ireland in the 1970s. The lyrics' intimate nature recalls a near-death experience he had when the album was being recorded. contains the song "You're the Best Thing About Me" as a single.
