This is the band's only studio album released in 1977, described as "just about the most exciting rock & roll records of the Seventies" in Rolling Stone's original review. This album was rightfully dubbed "the Sermon on the Mount of English punk" and was placed #41 in the magazine's list of the "500 Greatest Albums of All Time" a quarter of a century later, with none of the album's scathing fury and immense influence diminished.
