Formed in 1974 in New York and disbanded in 1982, The Salsoul Orchestra was the house band of Salsoul Records. This prime disco big band was a big influence on inspiring club house music, fusing Philly soul, funk and Latin music in a danceable disco sound. This gold-selling 1976 Christmas album, Christmas Jollies contains funky takes on traditional holiday fare like "The Little Drummer Boy," "Sleigh Ride" and "Silent Night," in addition, this collection includes a pair of spirited medleys and a few originals for good measure.
The media on this holiday music vinyl album is new in Mint condition. In its original factory seal, the album cover is in Mint condition with no major visible wear.
